On the road early this morning to get to Oldcastle in Co Meath to deliver day 1 of a 3 Day FETAC First Aid Course. Haven’t worked with this company before so looking forward to meeting new people. Full group of 10.
Made good time driving to Oldcastle, keeping to the speed limit all the way but did see some crazy driving. One guy over took a lorry on a bend and just missed a oncoming car meters. I didn’t even get a chance to take down the cars number plate as it happened so fast. With this kind of driving it is no wonder the death rate on the roads is so high. We really need to look at how we can improve safety on the roads
